Cove Rangers third strip in support of UCAN

In conjunction with the Cove Rangers Community Foundation, we are delighted to announce a new third kit which will highlight the club’s backing for UCAN Aberdeen.

Thanks to Cove Rangers’ outstanding Principal Club Partner, KR Group, the all-red strip – which will be used exclusively during their games in the KDM Evolution Trophy – will feature the UCAN logo on the front of the players’ shirts, the space having kindly been vacated by KR Group who were keen to show their support.

The KR logo will instead feature on the back, and the new tops will also display the logo of the Cove Rangers Community Foundation on the sleeve and of their recently announced Back of Shirt Partner, The Blind Mannie.

CRCF chief executive, Jenny Laing, is delighted to make the announcement: “This is exactly the sort of partnership the Foundation is keen to foster, and we are very pleased to help highlight the incredible work the charity does.”

That is a view shared by UCAN chief executive, Kenny Anderson: “This is a generous and most welcome decision from Cove Rangers, which we really appreciate at UCAN. While the charity has been operating for more than two decades, raising awareness for urological cancer remains fundamental to our work, and with the charity market currently under so much pressure and extremely competitive, initiatives such as this can really make a hugely positive difference.”

This will be the first time the team has worn an all-red strip, and the new kit is sure to prove popular. It will be available to buy at the club shop on home matchdays and on the Cove Rangers website later this month.
